Burnet (Sanguisorba), 1.76 oz/ 50 g

A decoction prepared with the roots of Burnet can be taken not only inside but also used externally.

 

The infusion has antibacterial properties against E. coli, all the germs of dysentery and paratyphoid group. A decoction made of the root of Burnet should be used in such diseases as diarrhea of various etiologies, non-specific ulcerative colitis, chronic enterocolitis, intestinal, gastric, pulmonary, hemorrhoids, renal and uterine bleeding and heavy menstruation.

 

Burnet is used as a strong astringent, analgesic, anti-inflammatory and hemostatic remedy. Externally Burnet is used in cases of long-healing wounds, such as stomatitis, tonsillitis, burns, varicose veins of the legs.
